Nato nel 1963, lavoro in grafica e pubblicità dal 1983. Dal 2006 ho trasferito in ambito artistico l'esperienza e la creatività maturate con la mia professione. Espongo in mostre collettive e personali, nazionali ed internazionali. (Exhibitions)

Sillabart è il nome del processo creativo attraverso cui prendono vita i miei lavori. Fusioni fra testo ed immagini, doppi sensi e modi di dire, sono i princìpi a cui mi ispiro. In una sorta di "surrealismo rivisitato" ne derivano oggetti che sono sintesi visiva dei vocaboli e diventano involucri in cui collocare le idee, con lo humour che a volte contengono.

La loro apparente semplicità rivela un divertimento tra forma e contenuto, anche per il puro piacere di recuperare ogni tanto uno sguardo bambino, un agire spensierato, incantato e surreale verso la realtà che ci circonda: giocare con le parole, ridisegnando nuovi significati tra immagini e realtà, per poi ricostruire tutto lasciando strada all'invenzione.

Per chi osserva, lo sguardo può spostarsi più volte dall'opera al titolo, poiché in quest'ultimo ci sono indizi utili per scoprire i diversi e nascosti significati espressi nell'opera stessa.

Ogni mio lavoro tenta di soddisfare la curiosità di comprendere se il Surrealismo, attraverso la sua ricerca intellettuale ed estetica, può ancora oggi creare invenzioni fantastiche raccontate e rese forma attraverso un linguaggio artistico attuale.

Ripensare, ridisegnare, ricostruire.

To reflect upon the meaning of reality and the - perhaps - apparent contradiction between logic and paradox, does not exclude the ability to cultivate the "lightness" of ideas, and with my works I wish to power the solar, playful and curious side of those who watch them.

Born in 1963, I have been working in graphics and advertising since 1983. Since 2006 I have brought the experience and creativity gained from my profession into the artistic field. I exhibit in collective and personal, national and international exhibitions. (Exhibitions)

"Sillabart Series" is the name of the creative process through which my works come to life. Mergers between text and images, double meanings and idioms are the principles that inspire me. With a sort of "revisited surrealism", objects are created which are a visual synthesis of words and become envelopes in which ideas can be placed, with the humor they sometimes contain.

The apparent simpleness of the objects that come out from my labor process reveals fun between form and content, the intent of recovering a child look, a carefree, enchanted and surreal action towards the reality that surrounds us: playing with words, redesigning new meanings between images and reality, and then reconstructing everything leaving way to invention.
